Fryerstown is surrounded by the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park and the Goldfields Track runs straight past our front door, making it a great spot to launch your hiking, biking or prospecting adventures. Or perhaps you just need to unwind with a picnic and swim at Vaughan Springs or Golden Point Reservoir?
If dining, shopping and the arts are your passion, we are only 10 minutes from Castlemaine and 30 minutes from Daylesford and Kyneton. One weekend isn't enough to explore all the local cafes, restaurants, wineries, galleries and live music on offer. Better still, visit during one of the diverse festivals, including music, arts, open gardens and the incredible Castlemaine State Festival.

I needed a relaxing get away & stayed 3 nights at Fryers Hut. I could have easily stayed 3 more!! The setting and surrounds are stunning. The hut had everything l needed & more. The bath with its views l miss already. Carla was wonderful. She has created a beautiful oasis. I will definitely be returning.

Well provisioned and quality bedding and towels.
Lots of towels provided including for swimming.
Beautiful and peaceful setting.
We loved sitting by the fire in the evenings listening to the frogs and watching the stars overhead.

A little sanctuary in the bush in a historical interesting location in the Goldfields. Perfect spot for some respite to get away from it all. The cabin has everything you need, small but perfect. Would love to go back when I need a recharge. Great hosts!
